I Promise I Am Still Here

So this is beginning to be a terrible recurrence for me and my readers. I do a post, apologize for being gone so long, say I am going to do better, and then a month later repeat this cycle. So let me go into one of the reasons why I haven't been posting lately. It is definitely not due to a lack of projects because I have been a busy bee working on projects throughout my house. The problem with that statement would be the word "projects", because it is plural. I am a "project hopper". For those of you who are not sure what that is, it means someone who starts a new project before another one is finished or in my case has about 10 projects going on at a time. Yes, this is a term that I came up with on my own. The bad thing with this is that I like to have a project completely finished before showing it to anyone. So that is why I haven't been able to post about any of my projects. Anyways let me update you on what I have been working on lately. 

I am still making some finishing touches to the living room. It is almost finished and has been for a while, so I am trying to buckle down and get these last few things done so I can share. If I don't get those last things done soon, as much as it will probably kill me, I am going to go ahead and share what I have with you.

 Do you remember me posting this before picture in a post back in January of projects that I wanted to complete this year....

Well, another project that is almost complete is my laundry room. The only thing holding me back from posting about it is a few vinyl labels that I need to cut out on my sister's Cricut next time I go back to Gainesville.

I will give a sneak peak of what we have been working on....

I will post a tutorial on the shelves and the final reveal in the next few weeks, I promise!!!

I have also been working on my closet. This hasn't been a #1 priority on the project list so it's getting there. I still need to make a few final touches to our master bathroom. I am working on a few minor things in the kitchen (dish towels, a rug), so that should be good soon. I still haven't even started to do anything with our pantry...maybe one day. I also haven't even really started on the loft either. Although, this leads me to my next topic. I have some ideas about the loft but the new big project is that I am turning our guest bedroom into my craft/sewing room!!!

I really hated my sewing table being in the loft. There wasn't much room to work on anything. Plus, it really took away from it because the table was so cute and the rest of the room is so "man cavish." It just didn't look good in there. Plus, no one ever comes to stay with us so why do we need a guest bedroom?! It was really just a room that collected things that didn't have a home. So I am putting an end to that. Every item in this house needs a home!

So now can you see how I am a "project hopper"?! I actually didn't even name everything I have going on which is kinda ridiculous. Sorry this post was so long and pretty boring. I just wanted to update you on everything I am working on and why I haven't been blogging. So again I am going to say that I am going to try to do better and be on here more often. Hopefully I will stick with it! Hope you enjoy your weekend!

Fun with The Little Ones

Hey everyone! I hope you are all enjoying your weekend! I sure am. I'm glad to have a day where I don't have to scrape gunk off teeth! Anyways, I thought I would drop by and share some pictures of a slumber party that we had a few weeks back at my parent's house. Jaxon, Mac, and Rylee (my nephew and cousins) all came to stay. It was a little wild, but we still had a blast! These pictures are all you need to see!
